All classes are open to all levels. Our classes are an integration of styles and lineages. We have studied and certified under various masters and blended the "best of the best". Within the classes, practitioners are encouraged to progress forward with no strain or pain. Individuals can delve deeper into Asanas (postures) or continue at the preperatory/foundational level. Where there is an "advanced" asana, a preparation asana will also be given and vice-versa. It is good to remember that the very definition of asana is "with ease". Feel free to experiment in class and give all the variations a try. Be patient, slow down and see your body open and strengthen in ways you never thought possible. Have compassion for yourself and most importantly ENJOY your time in practice.

Tradition Angela: 50-60 and 80-90 min offered

Focusing on the traditional aspects of Hatha Yoga we begin class with an invocation, "OM" and possibly a mantra. We move immediately into Surya Namaskara (Sun Salutations) and then into another form of Vinyasa. These Vinyasas are done in the beginning of class to warm the body up. In Tradition we will explore foundational postures and their first, second and sometimes third step variations. We end with relaxation, Pranayama and meditation. This class is beautiful, fun, challenging and for ANY level.
Power Hour : 50-60 min

An empowering hour of Vinyasa. Inspired by Baron Baptiste's Journey Into Power, this open-level class develops strength, flexibility and balance in mind, body and spirit. Often an adventure in sweat and stamina, students are encouraged to work at their own pace while staying connected to breath for guidance.
Surya Chandra Vinyasa with Jonas: 90 min

Surya Chandra Vinyasa is described it as "Sun Moon flow"- a balancing flow of postures, includes sun and moon salutations, mixing both strong athletic and gentle relaxing styles of hatha yoga.
Lakulish with Jennifer: Varies

This class consists of basic Hatha Yoga postures, Pranayama, and ends with OM chanting and meditation. The Hatha Yoga focus is on developing a healthy body, mind, and spirit through postures that are stable, comfortable, and yet challenging enough to help build a strong foundation in the body. This class builds energy and heat (tapas) in the spinal column and body and cleanses the body's energetic pathways through a set sequence of yoga postures performed in combination with certain guided breathing techniques. In class, Jennifer draws attention to Yamas and Niyamas as an important part of building and maintaining Prana (vital life energy) built in the practice.

You may have heard of Open Mic nights... this is Open Mat class! Sunday morning classes are for letting go of any expectations! Any certified teacher is able to "sign-up" and lead a class. The type of class will be unknown until you begin. (Come prepared for 90 minutes.)
